Unlike the original studio model, my "Enterprise" is spray painted flat white.  The warp-drive bussard collector domes are painted brick red.  I painted the space energy/matter field restoration cowls, at the aft end of the warp engines, aluminum.  The main navigation deflector dish is painted copper in front, and flat black on the backside.   The windows are painted black and gray.  The entire model was then sprayed with gloss coat, decals applied, and then sprayed with dull coat.  I later discovered that the original studio model was actually painted gray, with frosted clear bussard collector domes.  The lighting effect for the engines were created using Christmas type light bulbs.   The main deflector dish on the studio model was all copper with a silver antenna in the middle.
